Last month, Microsoft introduced a feature that allows Xbox Game Pass subscribers to stream games they own on Android and PC. Now, the feature has expanded to Xbox console users, though it’s still in the testing phase, meaning only a select group of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can access it.
To use this feature, players need to be part of the Xbox Insiders program and must be in the Alpha Skip-Ahead or Alpha rings, as noted in the Xbox Wire blog. While most Xbox users may not have access yet, UK gamers can take advantage of this feature on both Xbox Series and Xbox One consoles.
The benefit of this feature is that it lets players stream games they own digitally without the need to install them, although physical disc owners will not be eligible. Additionally, an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription is required—lower-tier members won’t be able to use it.

This feature, which was initially slated for release in 2025, has been rolled out early, giving select users a head start. For those not in the Xbox Insiders program, the feature will be more widely available next year.
