Eligibility Criteria 

Requirements to ensure that candidates are eligible for the MP-SET 2025 include the following: 

1. Educational Qualification: 

Candidates should be a Master's degree or equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories) from a recognized university. 

Final-year postgraduate students are also eligible to apply. 

2. Age Limit: 

There is no upper age limit for appearing in the MP-SET examination. 

3. Reservation: 

Reservations for various categories are applicable as per the Madhya Pradesh government norms. 

 

Exam Pattern 

MP-SET 2025 is available in two papers, all these are taken on the same day. 

Paper-I: 

  • Objective: To evaluate teaching as well as research aptitude. 

  • Number of Questions: 50 compulsories 

  • Marks: 100 

  • Duration: 1 hour 

  • Subjects: General awareness, comprehension, reasoning ability, and teaching aptitude. 

Paper-II: 

  • Objective: Subject-specific test. 

  • Number of Questions: 100 compulsories 

  • Marks: 200 

  • Duration: 2 hours 

  • Subjects: Dependent upon the subjects opted for the test-taker (for example, Life Science, Commerce, English, etc.).
